Susan Olson, 49, of Chanhassen, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m. at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Vernon Ave. at Highway 100, Edina. Following the service, everyone is welcome to a spaghetti dinner at Buca’s in Eden Prairie.

School will be starting in September, right after Labor Day.
Since the consolidating of the country schools in Eden Prairie in 1924, there are modern schools for all grades and classes in Eden Prairie with yellow school buses and all.
In the 1800s, there was a school in all four corners of Eden Prairie. The Anderson log school was first and was located where Sears’ parking lot is in the Eden Prairie Center.
The Gould School followed shortly after where Marshall’s Market is located on the corner of Pioneer Trail and Eden Prairie Road.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 18 for Nov. 6 show
Calling all foodies, cooks and would-be cooks: whatever your skill level in the kitchen, become a master just in time for the holidays and have fun while doing it at the Taste of Home Cooking School show, presented live at Prior Lake High School in Savage on Saturday, Nov. 6.
This event is the first time the national company has presented the cooking school in the Twin Cities area. It is sponsored by Southwest Newspapers and Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Community Education.
